On September 21, 2026, at the Santa María Nebaj District Hospital in El Quiché, the REDC-SALUD and CEGSS They held an event to distribute and fill out forms for Complaints, Suggestions, and Compliments/Thanks in the seven drop boxes located in various hospital departments.

During the event, staff and residents were told that these mailboxes are a a formal channel for sharing their experiences with the care they received, helping to strengthen user participation.

The promotion of the mailboxes took place in Spanish and the Ixil language, providing guidance on how to fill out the forms and the options for submitting a complaint, suggestion, or note of appreciation based on your experience with our services.

In addition, the women's rights advocates shared information about the support provided by REDC-SALUD and they urged the public to use public health services and seek assistance when they encounter difficulties in receiving care.
