On September 22, 2026, in the Nebaj Municipal Health District, El Quiché, the CEGSS He held a meeting with healthcare personnel to follow up on the guidelines for the plan to promote health and prevent noncommunicable diseases.

During the meeting, audiovisual materials were presented on mental health and chronic illnesses, reviewing its content, language, and relevance to the residents of Nebaj.

As a result, it was agreed to revise and adapt the scripts using simple language appropriate to the cultural and linguistic context of the Ixil Region. The idea of including information about the health services and personnel available to the public was also raised, with the aim of facilitating access to guidance and care.

In addition, a review session will be held with the staff in charge to validate and improve the materials before they are distributed, thereby strengthening clear, accessible, and relevant health communication for the communities.
