On August 14, 2026, REDC-SALUD and CEGSS met with the UISAU of the Santa Cruz del Quiché Regional Hospital to follow up on commitments and strengthen citizen participation. They reviewed the forms for complaints, suggestions, and expressions of gratitude, as well as aspects related to cultural relevance, linguistic rights, and satisfaction surveys, to advance the implementation of the suggestion boxes.

It was also agreed to develop informational materials in K’iche’, Ixil, and Q’eqchi’ regarding services, hours of operation, visitation policies, and user rights, with the aim of promoting dignified, accessible, and culturally appropriate care.
