The closing of module II of the Citizen School for the Right to Health, held virtually, focused on reflection on the values that guide community life.
The session delved into four essential principles for community organization: Pa k'ex, Pa poqonab'äl, Pa q'uch and Tzakat. These principles, which guide both daily practices and collective decisions, are key to strengthening the sense of participation and common well-being in the communities.

During the meeting, readings and stories were shared that helped participants reflect on the connection between these principles and spiritual balance in daily life. In particular, the story “Where are the spirits going?” served as a basis for dialogue on how ancestral values are present in the practices of the communities. As Miriam, one of the participants pointed out: “Rescuing what my ancestors have delegated to me allows us to reconnect with our identity and contribute to the well-being of the community.”.
This space reaffirmed the commitment to community principles and the individual responsibility of each person in strengthening the social fabric.
