



















Between February 12 and 14, the Center for Equity and Governance Studies in Health Systems (CEGSS) participated in the Central American Meeting on Legal Empowerment, held in Antigua Guatemala.
The event seeks to generate an instance of face-to-face work between the selected projects of the Central America Ideas Lab and mentor organizations, in addition to providing a space for exchange, meeting and learning among organizations working on legal empowerment in Central America, to consolidate a community and identify possible future steps in the Isthmus and Latin America.

The organizations participating in the meeting are from various Central and South American countries, including: IDM, GMIES Fundación para la Justicia, CEHPRODEC, CEJIL, Asociación Centro de Vida Independiente, Asociación Centro de Derechos Laborales sin Fronteras de Costa Rica, Colectivo Artesana de Guatemala, Asociación Movimiento por Nuestros Derechos Humanos - MOMUNDH, Centro de apoyo para las Trabajadoras de Casa Particular - CENTRACAP- Foro nacional para las migraciones de Honduras, ECOS and Bufete Jurídico de Derechos Humanos de Guatemala.
The activity was organized by the Civil Association for Equality and Justice (ACIJ), CEGSS, the Latin American School of Community Advocacy (ELAC) and the Latin American Community of Legal Empowerment (NAMATI).
