As part of the Citizenship Education work axis that CEGSS On March 20, 2024, the Second Cohort of the Citizen School for the Right to Health was launched in Panajachel.
The Citizen School seeks to provide advocates with the knowledge and tools necessary to carry out their work of citizen oversight of the right to health in the public health services of their communities.

The training plan and schedule of activities were presented, and information was provided on the work of the Network of Community Advocates for the Right to Health. Redc-Salud Guatemala and on the accompaniment and advice of the CEGSS, In addition, information was provided on the different coordinations that the department has with SESAN.

Thirty-six leaders, midwives and therapists from San Antonio Palopó, San Juan La Laguna, Concepción, Sololá, San Pablo La Laguna, San Marcos La Laguna, Santa María Visitación, San Andrés Semetabaj, Santa Catarina Ixtahuacán and Nahualá participated in the event. CEGSS.
The event brought together 36 leaders from 10 municipalities of Sololá.
