On August 25, 2026, in Cobán, Alta Verapaz, CEGSS and REDC-SALUD held a coordination meeting with the Attorney General’s Office (PGN) to present the work they are doing in training, citizen oversight, community support, and advocacy for the right to health.

During the meeting, participants discussed strengthening institutional coordination and promoting training programs for community advocates on legal issues and case management.

The meeting helped identify opportunities for collaboration to strengthen the capacities of community advocates and contribute to the protection and defense of the population's rights.
