The visit, promoted by the advocates of these municipalities, was aimed at obtaining first-hand information on the dengue situation in the region. According to health personnel, five cases of dengue have been confirmed in Tectit\u00e1n, and awareness campaigns are being carried out for the population to eliminate water containers in their homes as a preventive measure.<\/span><\/p>

However, health personnel noted the lack of adequate resources and personnel to carry out key activities, such as malaria testing and fumigation campaigns, which are essential to curb the spread of dengue.
