La visita se realiz\u00f3 el martes 24 y mi\u00e9rcoles 25 de septiembre de 2024<\/p>

La visita se realiz\u00f3 con apoyo de los defensores del municipio de Tectit\u00e1n y Cuilco, quienes fueron los que tuvieron la iniciativa de llevar a cabo la visita con acompa\u00f1amiento de CEGSS<\/p>

La visita se llev\u00f3 a cabo con el objetivo de informarse y obtener informaci\u00f3n sobre la situaci\u00f3n del dengue en Tectit\u00e1n y Cuilco, y en base esta informaci\u00f3n hacer incidencia ante las autoridades de salud en el departamento, con datos reales desde el personal de salud.<\/p>

En la visita el personal que atendi\u00f3 inform\u00f3 que en Tectit\u00e1n, hay 5 casos confirmados, y las acciones que estan realizando es concientizar a la poblaci\u00f3n sobre la importancia de no tener recipientes con agua en sus hogares, pero hace falta personal para la actividad especifica de malaria, pruebas no disponibles en los servicios, insumos para una campa\u00f1a de fumigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>

Visita de defensores de la salud a CAP y CAIMI en Huehuetenango revela desaf\u00edos en la lucha contra el dengue<\/b><\/p>

El martes 24 y mi\u00e9rcoles 25 de septiembre de 2024, defensores de la REDCSALUD de Tectit\u00e1n y Cuilco, acompa\u00f1ados por la Delegada Departamental de la Red y personal del CEGSS, realizaron una visita a los Centros de Atenci\u00f3n Permanente (CAP) en Tectit\u00e1n y el CAIMI en Cuilco, en el departamento de Huehuetenango.<\/span><\/p>

La visita, impulsada por los defensores de estos municipios, tuvo como objetivo obtener informaci\u00f3n de primera mano sobre la situaci\u00f3n del dengue en la regi\u00f3n. Seg\u00fan el personal de salud, en Tectit\u00e1n se han confirmado cinco casos de dengue, y se est\u00e1n llevando a cabo campa\u00f1as de concienciaci\u00f3n para que la poblaci\u00f3n elimine recipientes de agua en sus hogares, como medida preventiva.<\/span><\/p>

Sin embargo, el personal de salud se\u00f1al\u00f3 la falta de recursos y personal adecuado para llevar a cabo actividades clave, como las pruebas de malaria y las campa\u00f1as de fumigaci\u00f3n, esenciales para frenar la propagaci\u00f3n del dengue. Estas deficiencias ser\u00e1n presentadas ante las autoridades de salud con el fin de incidir en la atenci\u00f3n a estas necesidades urgentes en la regi\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>
