En un esfuerzo por fortalecer la vigilancia ciudadana y mejorar la calidad del servicio de salud en la regi\u00f3n, las participantes de la segunda cohorte de la Escuela Ciudadana, Defensores de la REDC-SALUD y equipo del CEGSS llevaron a cabo actividades de vigilancia en los CAP de Santa Mar\u00eda Visitaci\u00f3n y San Andr\u00e9s Semetabaj.\u00a0<\/p>

Aspectos de la vigilancia ciudadana<\/p>

Monitoreo integral con usuarios: se llevaron a cabo entrevistas para recopilar las percepciones de los usuarios sobre los cuatro elementos de la salud: calidad, aceptabilidad, accesibilidad y disponibilidad.<\/p>

Identificaci\u00f3n de problemas con el personal de los servicios: se abordaron los desaf\u00edos que enfrenta el servicio de salud, con el fin de garantizar una atenci\u00f3n digna para todos los usuarios.<\/p>

Proceso de monitoreo<\/p>

En ambas actividades, se realizaron entrevistas que incluyeron a diversos actores clave:<\/p>

  • En Santa Mar\u00eda Visitaci\u00f3n, se convers\u00f3 con el responsable del servicio, trabajadores, el piloto de la ambulancia, el encargado de la farmacia y usuarias del servicio.<\/li>
  • En San Andr\u00e9s Semetabaj, se entrevist\u00f3 a usuarios, personal del servicio, la encargada de las Abuelas Comadronas y al director del CAP.<\/li><\/ul>

    Los hallazgos obtenidos durante las actividades de vigilancia ser\u00e1n analizados y recopilados en un informe que destacar\u00e1 tanto los aspectos positivos de los servicios como las recomendaciones espec\u00edficas para mejorar la atenci\u00f3n en cada servicio.<\/p>

    En esta vigilancia se resalta el compromiso y la labor de las participantes de la Escuela Ciudadana por el Derecho a la Salud, as\u00ed como el apoyo de los Defensores de la REDC-SALUD. Su servicio comunitario no solo fortalece la formaci\u00f3n y la vigilancia, sino que tambi\u00e9n empodera a la comunidad en la defensa de su derecho a la salud.<\/p>

    In an effort to strengthen citizen oversight and improve the quality of health services in the region, the participants of the second cohort of the Citizen School, REDC-SALUD Advocates and the CEGSS team carried out monitoring activities in the CAPs of Santa Mar\u00eda Visitaci\u00f3n and San Andr\u00e9s Semetabaj. Aspects of citizen surveillance Comprehensive monitoring with users: interviews were conducted to gather users' perceptions on the four elements of health: quality, acceptability, accessibility and availability. Identification of problems with service personnel: the challenges faced by the health service were addressed in order to ensure decent care for all users. Monitoring process In both activities, interviews were conducted with several key actors: In Santa Mar\u00eda Visitaci\u00f3n, the person in charge of the service, workers, the ambulance driver, the person in charge of the pharmacy and users of the service were interviewed. In San Andr\u00e9s Semetabaj, we interviewed users, service personnel, the person in charge of the Grandmothers Midwives and the CAP director. The findings obtained during the monitoring activities will be analyzed and compiled in a report that will highlight both the positive aspects of the services and specific recommendations for improving care in each service. In this monitoring, the commitment and work of the participants of the Citizen School for the Right to Health, as well as the support of the REDC-SALUD Ombudsmen, is highlighted.
