As part of the Citizenship Education work axis that CEGSS<\/a> On March 20, 2024, the Second Cohort of the Citizen School for the Right to Health was launched in Panajachel.<\/p>

The Citizen School seeks to provide advocates with the knowledge and tools necessary to carry out their work of citizen oversight of the right to health in the public health services of their communities.<\/p>

The training plan and schedule of activities were presented, and information was provided on the work of the Network of Community Advocates for the Right to Health. Redc-Salud Guatemala<\/a> and on the accompaniment and advice of the CEGSS<\/a>, In addition, information was provided on the different coordinations that the department has with SESAN.<\/p>

Thirty-six leaders, midwives and therapists from San Antonio Palop\u00f3, San Juan La Laguna, Concepci\u00f3n, Solol\u00e1, San Pablo La Laguna, San Marcos La Laguna, Santa Mar\u00eda Visitaci\u00f3n, San Andr\u00e9s Semetabaj, Santa Catarina Ixtahuac\u00e1n and Nahual\u00e1 participated in the event.
