On Wednesday 19, a Letter of Understanding was signed in Guatemala City between the Human Rights Ombudsman's Office, the Center for the Study of Equity and Governance in Health Systems and the Network of Community Defenders for the Right to Health. Through this letter, the three organizations commit to join efforts to advance the full enjoyment of the right to health of Guatemalans.

This letter of understanding opens a new chapter in the collaboration between the PDH and civil society. This agreement will result in collaborative actions to strengthen the work of the three organizations and support the citizen oversight exercise carried out by the Network of Community Defenders for the Right to Health. We hope that more public institutions can emulate the example of transparency and collaboration with civil society led by the PDH.
