On September 9, 2026, students from the third cohort of the Citizen School for the Right to Health, advocates for the REDC-HEALTH, accompanied by the CEGSS, they organized a community watch event at the CAP in Santa Clara La Laguna, Sololá.

The activity included interviews with staff and patients, as well as an assessment of the infrastructure and the operation of health services.

During the event, challenges related to the patient transport, medication supply, maternal care, wait times, information about services, linguistic appropriateness, and emergency response capacity.

The findings will be organized to promote actions and proposals for improvement that will help strengthen dignified, timely, and high-quality care for the population.
