We work in alliance
CEGSS works in the construction of strategic alliances with different actors, organizations, coalitions and social movements, with which we coincide in objectives and goals.
Our first natural alliance is the Network of Community Advocates for the Right to Health (Red de Defensores Comunitarios por el Derecho a la Salud) (REDCSALUD) with whom we have unified efforts in the last 15 years, building processes of citizen empowerment and health surveillance.

The Bufete de Derechos Humanos is one of the most important organizations in the country that develops strategic litigation processes in human rights. For some years now, it has incorporated into its work plan the development of litigation in the area of economic, social and cultural rights. Like CEGSS, it seeks to promote strategic claims processes for human rights violations. For several years, both organizations have decided to join efforts to promote litigation initiatives in the field of health, and currently have an institutional mutual collaboration agreement.
The UPR Coalition is also an important space of organizations working in the field of human rights, which have the common goal of making efforts to position a common narrative on the situation of human rights in the country, working together in the realization of shadow reports to the Universal Periodic Review of the State of Guatemala and other mechanisms of the United Nations System. Currently CEGSS is one of the few organizations that are part of the space that works on health issues. See reports elaborated.
GT Data Lab and CEGSS have a working partnership in the field of research, with the aim of contributing to the generation of useful knowledge for the action of influencing public policy in the field of health and others.
NAMATI seeks to put the power of law and law in the hands of communities fighting for inclusion and social justice.
The Latin American Legal Empowerment Community is a regional chapter in Latin America of the Latin American Legal Empowerment Community. Grassroots Justice Network, a global network convened by Namati that brings together more than 12,000 people and 3,000 organizations from 175 countries working for access to justice around the world with vulnerable communities and groups.
The Latin American School of Community Advocacy and Legal Activism (ELAC) is the first school for activists in Latin America engaged in community rights work and legal empowerment. A place for meeting, learning, experimenting and building a community of practice dedicated to justice, equality and social change from the power of communities. CEGSS is part of this effort and has collaborated in the development of courses within the school.
It is an Association that works for a fair and inclusive society, capable of reversing poverty and discrimination against vulnerable groups, guaranteeing all people full access to their rights, to be treated as equals and to have democratic and transparent institutions that provide real opportunities to participate and influence decision-making on public affairs.
CLAS is a coalition that brings together more than 200 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in the Americas with the purpose of preventing and controlling Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in the region. From CEGSS we actively participate in this Coalition and in its Guatemala chapter in Guatemala Saludable.
COPASAH is a community of practice where practitioners share an interest and passion for the field of community-based monitoring for accountability in health. In this community they interact regularly and participate in the exchange of experiences and lessons; sharing resources, capacities and methods; in the production and dissemination of conceptual, methodological and practical products to strengthen the field; and in networking and capacity building among member organizations. CEGSS has participated in this space since its constitution.

LEF is a program organized by the Global Human Rights Fund.
