The president of the second level Community Development Councils (COCODES) of micro-region II, El Paraíso village, Zona Reyna, Uspantán, Quiché, went to the offices of the Governor's Office and the department's Regional Council for Urban and Rural Development (COREDUR) to comply with his responsibility to render accounts and follow up on community projects. This action is part of his quarterly duties to report on the efforts and mobilizations carried out.
During his presentation, key aspects such as non-cash expenses, income additions, projected balances for the next period and the reconciliation of accounts were reviewed.
In addition, the representative went to COREDUR to receive educational material on the laws that regulate the operation of the Urban and Rural Development Councils. These books will be shared with the community leaders of the micro-region, who will address topics such as the importance and functions of the COCODES, as well as the laws that support the full exercise of this right and duty of citizenship.
