Participation in the workshop; “Global Wellbeing from the United Kingdom to Bhutan and Latin America”. Addressing the following definition from the Mayan cosmovision: Well-being is a collective effort. It is a balance between human needs and mother earth. Well-being is living productively, safely and peacefully within our communities. Well-being cannot exist if some people or communities suffer from discrimination, exclusion, marginalization or oppression. Empowering communities to improve equity and eliminate exclusion is essential to wellbeing.

The work and experience of the REDC-Salud in the defense of human rights, especially health, was shared. It was made known that from the organizations of the native peoples the struggle continues and this awakened the interest of some organizations and institutions that work on issues of defense of rights.
