Overview:
The purpose of the grant is to support indigenous communities in ten rural municipalities in Guatemala to hold local authorities to account for their health related commitments, and generate evidence on how participatory monitoring can advance social change.

Overview:
This project aims to implement a participatory health rights-based approach to citizens’ empowerment for the monitoring of public polices and healthcare services, in about 20 municipalities of Guatemala. This approach was developed by CEGSS in a previous project implemented in 6 municipalities and is now expanded. This project also includes a comprehensive prospective ethnography for its monitoring and evaluation.
